After our first son, we were so sure we were done having kids. 4 years later on a 5 hour drive home, we started talking through everyday scenarios of expanding our family and 2 years later, our second son was born.
No matter how long that liminal space between changes lasts, it can be a dense place of suspension and unknown. It’s also a space of possibility and hope, enfolded into the lines of this painting.
