When I hired a videographer to capture my painting process, studio, and family life, I didn’t expect to have such trouble talking about it. All the insightful questions stumped me until my oldest, who had been poking around set, asked, “why do you like to paint?”.
What came after was a casual and thoughtful conversation with my kid. In an instant, he became an advocate, a listener, and someone who believed in me—and that changed everything. Life can go along and one day, things are just different. Some things only get better with time.
